Start ordering Ribs May 3rd, 2021 while supplies last! $30 per rack. Smoked, then quickly frozen baby back ribs simply awesome. For the 4 years we have had the event we have upped the order by 50 - 100 racks racks and we have sold out every year, so order early to make sure you get yours. Come to the Grove YMCA to place your order. Pick up days are July 2nd 4-7pm and July 3rd 9am-noon.
Pick up will be held at the Grove Schools Administration Building Parking lot! Not inside the building.
This annual fundraiser is held the week before the 4th of July and is great source for your family and friends holiday meal plans, and is our signature fundraiser for our financial assistance/scholarship program. The baby back pork ribs are professionally smoked by volunteers, then quickly frozen for pick up by buyers. They are easily heated up and ready to serve for family events, partys, or whenever you get the urge for the best ribs around. Cost is $30 per slab, proceeds go to our Strong Kid's Campaign that raises funds for the Y's financial assistance program which benefits youth, adults, families, and seniors. The funds ensure that we do not have to turn someone away from participating in Y programs or membership because they cannot afford to pay. The Y is always looking for sponsors for our fundraiser, so if you are interested please contact the Y at 918-786-5774. We will start advertising and taking rib orders the first of May each year, if you will friend our "Ribs for Kids page" on Facebook you'll be able to keep track of the event. This is a great way to make sure no child is left out of being able to participate in programs like swim lessons, summer day camp, flag football, soccer, or basketball, and you get a great meal at the same time.
